 |  These guys are complete professionals. I had my chimney relined last year by a company that did a horrible job. Andy and Max were able to remove the damaged liner and replace it CORRECTLY and professionally. They showed up on time and were wonderful to deal with. | I spoke to the owner Steve about my properties and the issues I was having with my chimneys. Steve was not only very patient but extremely prompt in sending his certified technicians out to see me. I then met that same afternoon with Kris & Andy whom were both very knowledgable & able to come up with 3 different options for me to consider in the process of repairing my damaged chimneys accompanied with some roof leaks. What really impressed me about the company is the fact that they were honest enough to explain the different levels of repairs in detail so I could understand. Ultimately what I decided to do with them came with a 20yr warranty backed by a company that's been around since 1967 was pretty reassuring. They not only were able to immediately stop my roof leaks but they rebuilt, relined & repointed 4 chimneys for me at 3 different locations the very next day! I've not only recommended them to my family but now feel inclined to reach out to anyone visiting this site so you can make NO MISTAKE when looking to hire a chimney company to do work for you or someone you love. A-1Armor cleaned up as they stated in my proposal and I quote " remove all job related debris from premises" as if they were never even here. That was appreciated as well, since companies in the past I've delt with fell flat on proposal promises! I plan on using them for all my cleanings next year & look forward to having them at my house. | Very Impressed! I had a roof problem that needed immediate attention and A1armor Construction were out at the house right away. They did an exceptional job and were very professional and knowledgeable! I was afraid the quick response would come with a steep price but I was wrong! | This was my first time using a chimney sweep, and I found them so incredibly helpful and professional. Not only did they clean up my chimney at a low cost, but they also shared tips with me on how to keep it clean and how to clean my own dryer vent. It is rare to find a business that cares more about their customers than they do about profit. Also, I was able to get an appointment right away -- during a busy time of year. Be sure to install a carbon monoxide (CO) detector near your furnace, and test regularly.
Carbon monoxide is an odorless gas that can kill without warning. The gas may accumulate inside if flue or chimney is blocked.
Use binoculars to do a quick check of your chimney from the ground outside.
If you see cracks or spaces in the bricks or mortar, call Armor Construction for a closer look.
If you see water dripping from a ceiling or around a skylight, don't panic.
It does not necessarily mean that you need a new roof. Call Armor Construction to identify the source, and repair it without delay to prevent further damage.
Choose asphalt shingles of a lighter color when selecting a new roof because they reflect more sunlight.
The darker shingles will absorb more infrared rays, contributing to wider temperature swings which can more rapidly degrade the asphalt.
